While the textile industry continues quietly polluting our environment with forever chemicals, EMPEL is rewriting the future of durable water repellency (DWR) for the next generation. The brand sought our expertise to make its sustainable yet high-performance technology a recognizable name for potential apparel and footwear partners, as well as consumers.

Conducting thorough research to cut to the brand's core, we developed an ownable brand platform, including positioning, promise, value prop, and logo that would set EMPEL apart from legends in the business.

vision turned to reality

Once we created the blueprint, it was time to add some color. Inspired by the new brand vision, we refreshed the EMPEL logo with a simple yet powerful icon that could be applied flexibly across their brand ecosystem—from website to product to packaging. A badge capturing the quality and essence of their brand.
