To celebrate decades of partnership, Dr. Martens and Journeys joined together and asked Vehicle to help create a first-of-its-kind brand experience in the global mecca of street fashion: Manhattan. The shop-in-shop is now a major draw for one of Journeys most heavily trafficked locations.

We worked directly with the Dr. Martens retail team to create an open, spacious brand experience that encourages hanging out and exploring their wide array of boots, shoes, and accessories. With an emphasis on attitude and rebellious self-expression, the shop-in-shop aligns well with Dr. Martens global retail program so it feels on-brand, no matter what part of the world you are from.
a seamless process of design, project management, and execution with stellar results
Working closely with the Dr. Martens team, Vehicle designed every aspect of the shop, from the backlit signage to the easily updated modular display systems. We developed high resolution 3D renderings for approvals from both Dr. Martens and Journeys, and created detailed specs for VCI (Visual Creations Inc), our excellent production partner on this project.
